Extract of the press release :
The Japanese philosophy that beauty is everywhere, even in breaks, cracks, fractures, wear and aging, has inspired many artists. This philosophy has also allowed resilience in the case of moral or physical injury.
It is this evidence of beauty in the living that this exhibition wants to highlight.
About the Marianne CAT store :
Located in a splendid mansion dating from 1760, this place is an atypical place where several universes coexist. We discover brands of fashion designers, jewelry, shoes; as well as leather goods, beauty products, niche perfumes, 20th century furniture and objects, and current designers.
The venue features temporary events around jazz, dance, photography, design and contemporary art.
For more than 20 years, Marianne Cat, a graduate of the Beaux Arts and herself specialized in knitting, offers a coherent selection of original brands and various finds in an arty atmosphere.
