Initially imagined and shown at the Maison de l’Artisanat et des Métiers d’Arts in Marseille south of France in early 2019, see specific articles in the news section for the concerned period, the exhibition “Fil du temps, Connexions textiles” proposed by Ysabel de Maisonneuve is now presented at the Tignous Contemporary Art Center in an expanded version, nourished by more recent pieces by artists and always echoing the exceptional collection of popular art by Tuulikki Chompré.
I am very happy to be associated with it, so much this universe touches me.
Exhibition proposed by Ysabel de Maisonneuve, and the artists Diana Brennan, Sylvia Eustache-Rools, Gilles Jonemann, Ysabel de Maisonneuve, Sylvie de Meurville, Veronika Moos, Laurent Nicolas, Sandrine Pincemaille, Aude Tahon and Fanny Viollet, echoing the exceptional collection of popular art by Tuulikki Chompré and also with the photographs of Eric Valdenaire.
